THE WINES OF A NEW
IN CLOSE COLLABORATION WITH EXCLUSIVE WINERIES, WE CREATE WINES THAT EMBODY THE MODERN ZEITGEIST.
VEGAN AND OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. HAND-NUMBERED AND ONE OF A KIND.
RHEINGAU - RIESLING, DRY
In the search for a unique and unmistakable Riesling, we discovered the slopes of the Winkeler Dachsberg in the German Rheingau wine region.
This is where the vines for our Edition 01: MONKEY BUSINESS grow in ideal conditions on stony clay soil.
In close collaboration with our winemaker, whose winery has been family-owned since 1438, the perfect time for harvesting is determined every autumn alongside and with utmost care. After a long ripening process, which lasts until the spring of the following year, Edition 01 is created from the grapes, which must be of highest quality standards.
Through the combination of optimal growing conditions and great passion of the winemaker, the wine presents itself youthfully lucid, with a hint of apricot in the background.
At an optimal temperature between 8 - 11 °C, MONKEY BUSINESS transports the tradition of the Rheingau into your glass.
RHEINGAU - PINOT GRIS, DRY
Just as Hamburg and the Reeperbahn belong together, a Pinot Gris belongs to Anne & Lorenz.
At our partner winery, where not so long ago a generational change of ownership took place, a young winemaker dedicates himself with great dedication to the best grapes of each year. Harvested and processed by hand, a Pinot Gris was created in close cooperation with Anne & Lorenz, which presents itself vibrantly and proud like a tiger. EDITION 02: TIPSY TIGER.
Through the winemaker's passion and the premium quality of the grapes, Edition 02 is a very exceptional and unique wine experience.
It fuses the rich aromas and vibrant acidity of the Pinot Gris with a scent of citrus and white flowers to create an incomparable blend that reflects the feeling of a mild summer evening on the shore of the Elbe.
At an optimal temperature between 9 - 12 °C, Edition 02 is the perfect wine for the summer season and an embodiment of the Rheingau's love of life.
Born in Hamburg, Katharina Anne founded her first own company at the age of 18. At that time she imported the raw material for one of the most exclusive and expensive drinks in the world: coffee from Hawai'i. She had it roasted in Hamburg and sold it in various stores in the city.
In order to learn and understand entrepreneurial correlations from the very start, she began studying Business Administration at the University of Hamburg, which she completed with a Bachelor's degree.
Subsequently, she decided to pursue a master's degree at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, which she completed in 2019.
Today, Katharina Anne works as the Head of Brand Marketing in a start-up in the consumer goods sector, is increasingly involved in the field of female leadership and is constantly developing new business ideas.
Born and raised in Wiesbaden on the outskirts of the Rheingau, Paul Lorenz had been in touch with winegrowers and wine since his early youth. Over the years, not only did his love for the "Gold of the Rheingau" grow, but also the desire to produce his own wine.
The decision to continue his law studies in Hamburg rather than in Frankfurt am Main did nothing to alter this desire, although he turned his back on the Rheingau - however, only geographically.
Between 2016 and 2020, he worked in Hamburg for a start-up in the financial sector, which grew from 30 to over 300 employees and became internationally active during his time there. His main fields of activity were in the areas of business development, brand representation and innovation.
Since 2020, Paul Lorenz has been working in the sales department of a Hamburg-based management consulting firm. Here he also focuses on the financial sector.
